The black pepper is a perennial woody vine and a native to South India and cultivated in tropical regions such as China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Madagascar, America, and Europe. Vietnam is the world''s leading producer of black pepper today.

The black pepper plant bears the fruit during the fourth or fifth year. Harvest begins as soon as one or two fruits at the spike base turn red. The spikes are collected and sun-dried. Later, the peppercorns are removed off the spikes.

Cinnamon leaf oil comes from Cinnamonumverum (also called Laurus cinnamomum) from the Laurel (Lauraceae) plant family. This small and bushy evergreen tree is native to Sri Lanka, but now grows in many countries such as India, China, Bangladesh, Myanmar, and Indonesia. There are actually over 100 varieties of C. verum, with Cinnamonumzeylanicum (Ceylon cinnamon) and Cinnamomunaromaticum (Chinese cinnamon) as the most consumed.Cinnamon tree can be distinguished by its small, white flowers, shiny, leathery green leaves, and purple oval berries. Its papery, pale brown bark has thick quills that roll inside one another, and are gathered every two years.Cinnamon is one of the oldest spices known to man. It was valued in ancient Egypt not only as a medicine and beverage flavoring but also as an embalming agent and is also mentioned in the Bible. Cinnamon was so precious that it was considered more valuable than gold throughout some of its history.

Uses:
  • Cinnamon leaf oil can be used as an additive in soaps and a flavoring to seasonings. When used in aromatherapy – diffused, applied topically, or added to your bath water – it can have health-promoting effects. Here are some ways to use cinnamon leaf oil for your health and around your home:
  • Use it as a disinfectant. With its strong germicidal properties, cinnamon leaf oil works as a non-toxic natural disinfectant. Use it to clean your toilets, refrigerator, kitchen counters and other surfaces, door knobs, microwave, and sneakers. You can even use it to clean and disinfect your chopping boards.
  • Make a facial scrub. Mix it with cinnamon sugar, orange juice, and olive oil to create a rejuvenating scrub that has antiseptic properties to help kill facial bacteria effectively.
  • Gargle as a mouthwash. Add a drop or two to a glass of purified water, and gargle with it. For people with dentures, simply make a solution of water, hydrogen peroxide, and cinnamon leaf oil, and soak your dentures in it.
  • Add it to your foot soak. Mix a drop of cinnamon leaf oil in a bucket of warm water, and then soak your feet in it. This works great for athletes and people who wear closed shoes for most of the day.
  • Use cinnamon leaf oil as an insect repellent. The scent of cinnamon leaf oil can deter pesky household insects, such as black ants, mosquitoes, roaches, and flies. Studies found that it may even be more effective at repelling mosquitoes than the toxic chemical DEET. Simply spray or diffuse the oil around your home. You can also spray it over your mattresses and sheets to get rid of bed bugs.
  • Add it to your shampoo. Add a drop of cinnamon leaf oil to your regular non-chemical shampoo. This will help keep your hair healthy and, in children, help kill stubborn head lice.

Citriodora or Lemon eucalyptus is a jewel in the crown of the Eucalyptus family, Myrtaceae. With a revivifying and invigorating aroma of lemon and eucalyptus, this lemon-scented eucalyptus oil is used in fixing feelings of abandonment and mental agitation along with poor concentration and confusions. The essential oil of Citriodora is extracted from the elongated leaves of the Lemon-scented gum tree, botanically known as Eucalyptus citriodora by steam distillation.

Lemon eucalyptus oil is used in Ayurvedic treatment for asthma, cold, cough, arthritis, hypertension, shingles, migraine pain, rheumatism, wounds, inflammation, bacterial and fungal infections as well as a non-toxic insect repellent for keeping away from mosquitoes, ticks and fleas.

Historical uses and importance of Citriodora and its essential oil:

Lemon eucalyptus or Citriodora is a type of Eucalyptus tree in the Eucalyptus genus. This tree is indigenous to north eastern and tropical parts of Australia but few sources state that it is native to Vietnam and Madagascar. Even today about 75% of the trees grown in Australia belongs to the Eucalyptus family.

Brazil and China are the largest producers of commercial Lemon eucalyptus essential oil and this tree is also grow in India, South Africa, Guatemala, Egypt, Colombia, Indonesia and Albania. Citriodora is also said to be a cross between lemon and eucalyptus varieties. This large handsome evergreen tree grows up to 50 m tall and the broad lanceolate leaves exhibit a strong lemon and eucalyptus aroma when crushed.

Citriodora has its remedial history of being used in the traditional as well as modern medicine in the east and west, mainly as an aid for respiratory infections and for keeping insects at bay. The infusion made from the leaves of this tree has been used in reducing fever, treating gastric conditions and fighting against microbes causing such infectious diseases in the Aboriginal tradition.

Ayurveda and the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) used the aromatic leaves of this plant in steam inhalation for clearing nasal congestion, easing cold, flu, asthma and sore throat. The paste of this leaves or the leaves poultice were also used in healing wounds, cuts, skin infections, sores, cuts, blisters, chicken pox, joint pain, rheumatic pain, fungal infections and other few other infections.

Lemon eucalyptus oil is a famous ingredient in soaps, aromatic candles, natural insect repellents, lotions, shampoo, toothpastes, deodorants, perfumes, detergents, insecticides, waxes and in the flavoring of few other products since the traditional times.

Aromatherapists use rosemary's briskly energizing aroma to combat nervous exhaustion and fatigue. This effect can be so powerful that rosemary is not recommended for use by people with epilepsy or high blood pressure.

Rosemary oil acts as an astringent and will help regulate or decrease oily secretions of the hair folicles. For this reason rosemary hair care preparations are often used by people with greasy hair and dandruff.

This sweetly scented, expensive oil was especially good for use in perfumes, forest-type colognes and lavender scented products. Today it's much cheaper to blend isolated constituents such as linalool with a standard quality rosemary to achieve a similar effect. Rosemary essential oil has a herbaceous, woody, sharp, Camphor-like scent. Improves memory and clears cobwebs out of the mind. Used in massage oils, liniments, compresses, or bath to improve poor circulation and ease and penetrates muscle and rheumatic pain. Rubbing a rosemary vapor balm on the check relieves lung and sinus congestion.

Rosemary essential oil calms apprehension while stimulating the spirit. Aching muscles, arthritis, dandruff, dull skin, exhaustion, gout, hair care, muscle cramping, neuralgia, poor circulation, rheumatism.

Rosemary esesntial oil blends well with the following essential oils:Â olibanum, lavender, lavandin, citronella, oregano, thyme, pine, basil, peppermint, labdanum, elemi, cedarwood, petitgrain, cinnamon, cedarwood, frankincense, lemon, Spearmint, Geranium, Tea Tree, and Eucalyptus essential oils.

Products Deail:

  • Cinnamon bark oil is obtained from the bark of trees that belong to the Cinnamomum species (also called Cinnamon zeylanicum), which comprise more than 250 aromatic evergreen trees and shrubs all throughout Asia and Australia, although it is native to Sri Lanka, Myanmar and India. Cassia oil, sassafras and Ho leaf oils fall under the same category.Cinnamon bark oil is quite rare and expensive. From 1983 to 1992, exports from Sri Lanka, which was virtually the only major supplier of cinnamon bark oil, only reached 2.8 tons. Western Europe, especially France, is the major importer of cinnamon bark oil, followed by the United States.

Uses:

  • Cinnamon bark oil has a delicate aroma and a sweet, pungent taste. It is typically used as a flavoring in toothpaste to hide the disagreeable taste of pyrophosphate, a compound that inhibits plaque calcification. In Ayurvedic medicine, cinnamon bark was used as an antiemetic, antidiarrheal, antiflatulant, and a general stimulant. Today, cinnamon bark oil has been proven to naturally:
  • Lower cholesterol
  • Kill bacteria
  • Heal wounds
  • Control blood sugar levels
  • Relieve stomach flu caused by harmful bacteria like salmonella
  • Because of its honeyed taste and smell, cinnamon bark oil is frequently added in meat and fast food seasonings, sauces and pickles, baked goods, confectionery, cola-type beverages, and tobacco. However, cinnamon bark oil is seldom used as a main ingredient in perfumes and soaps because it has skin-sensitizing properties.
Benefits of Cinnamon Bark Oil:
  • Most therapeutic uses of cinnamon bark are rooted in its historical use as a traditional Chinese medicine. According to several studies, cinnamon bark oil can potentially help:
  • Fight serious viral diseases like herpes and human immunodeficiency virus (HIV)
  • Kill leukemia cancer cells as observed in animal testing due to the fungus Antrodiacinnamonea
  • Reverse the symptoms of Parkinson's disease
  • Treat fungal infections, including those caused by Candida albicans, Histoplasma capsulatum and Aspergillus niger, which is known to cause serious sinus infections
  • Counter cognitive decline in Alzheimer's disease, a severe form of dementia, which almost 5.54 million Americans are suffering from right now.

Jasmine is extracted using solvents and it offers a delicate and lovely scent. Jasmine is used for years in perfumes and therapy sessions and it has a heady fragrance and this absolute is an effective aphrodisiac. It is also known for relieving headaches and is an effective antiseptic and antidepressant. Jasmine absolute has sedative qualities also.

Jasmine (Jasminumofficinale) is an unusual and striking delicate fragrance that is intense for some people. It comes from the olive family and is a native of India. The jasmine absolute is extracted from the flowers of the plant and it can be called an essence than an essential oil. The flowers are usually picked at night when the fragrance is at its peak and by sunrise, most of the fragrance will be evaporated from the flowers. It takes about 1,000 pounds of uncrushed jasmine flowers to produce one pound of jasmine oil. Solvent extraction is used to create an absolute and the oil is produced by steam distillation of the absolute.

Evergreen Shrub

Jasmine is an evergreen shrub or vine that may grow as long as 30 feet with delicate, bright green leaves and star-shaped white flowers which has a strong and pleasing fragrance. Jasmine is also called the Queen of the Night. Chinese use the flowers to treat hepatitis, liver cirrhosis and dysentery. Jasmine root was used to treat headaches, insomnia, pain due to dislocated joints and rheumatism during olden times.

Jasmine has gentle analgesic action and is uplifting, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, stimulating and antibacterial. Jasmine oil blends well with rose, sandalwood, clary sage, and all citrus oils and jasmine is non-toxic, non-irritating and generally non-sensitizing. There are some types of plant which do not lend themselves to steam distillation because they are too delicate or their fragrance and therapeutic essences cannot be released by water alone. This is when these oils are produced as absolutes and these have therapeutic value like essential oils. Jasmine and Rose in particular are delicate flowers whose oils are often found in absolute form.

Extracted From Different Species

Jasmine absolute oil can be extracted from different species of jasmine like common jasmine (JasminumOfficinale) and Spanish jasmine (Jasminum Grandiflorum). Jasmine absolute oil is extracted from the white flowers of the plant, and this plant can reach a height of 10 to 15 feet, and bears dark green leaves. Its flowers usually blossom at night, but the plant grows from summer until fall. Pakistan has named jasmine its national flower. In India, it is regarded as a holy flower by the Hindus.

Jasmine absolute oil is known to be a vital component in making popular perfumes like Chanel No. 5 and Eau de Sauvage from France. In culinary, it is used to add flavour to alcohol, confectionery, and desserts and it is also added in body lotions, shampoos, and soaps. In South of India, jasmine flowers are used in garland preparation and as a hair decoration. Jasmine absolute oil blends well with rose, neroli, bergamot, petitgrain, sandalwood, citruses, palmarosa, geranium, and rosewood. Jasmine absolute rejuvenates skin and helps in treating dry or dehydrated skin, eczema, and dermatitis.

The collective species of the Nutmeg family are native to Southeast Asia, the most commercially used species is found naturally in the Banda Islands or Spice Islands of Indonesia. Many other species are also cultivated in other countries in Asia like India and New Guinea and the Penang islands of Malaysia. It is also cultivated in many Caribbean Islands

For the Nutmeg oil, the seeds of the Nutmeg species of trees are harvested which are bout egg-shaped and when dried weigh around 5 to 10 grams and are around 20 to 30 mm long and 15 to 18 mm wide. The growth conducive temperature is around 20-30°C with annual rainfall of 1500-2500mm.The harvest of the seeds starts after 7 or 9 years after the planting of the trees and the trees reach their full production capacity after about 20 years.

Since medieval times the Nutmeg seed has been a costly ingredient in the various culinary, medicinal and preservative applications in Europe. It was sold to the Europeans by Arab traders at very high prices and was a very valuable commodity in Asian sailor communities of the Middle Ages. After the Europeans discovered the only source of Nutmeg (The Banda Islands of Indonesia), the nations of Europe fiercely struggled for the constant control of the Nutmeg trade. After the Napoleonic wars, the British took temporary control of the Banda Islands and quickly transplanted Nutmeg trees in many of their Asian colonies, thus spreading Nutmeg to different places in the world.

After harvest mace is separated from the seed. The seeds are then dried for about a week and then the shell is cracked and removed to expose the kernel. The Nutmeg oil is extracted from the kernel a by using a process called 'steam distillation' which involves applying hydraulic pressures in the presence of steam.

Agarwood Oil, also known as Oud oil, Aloeswood oil, and many other names depending location, is extremely rare and precious natural oil obtained from several species of Agarwood (Aquilaria sp.) trees. It originates in North Eastern India, Bhutan and parts of South East Asia - especially Vietnam and Cambodia - the Philippines, and Indonesia, including Papau New Guinea. Agarwood has a very long history of medicinal use, as a valuable component of incense, and as an aromatic oil. There are several species of Agarwood, the most important species are: Aquilaria agollocha, A. malaccensis and A. crassna. Aquilaria malaccensis is endangered and protected worldwide under the CITES convention and A. crassna is listed as endangered by the Vietnamese government.

The fragrance of Agarwood comes from a process where fungi infect the trees, producing an oleoresin which saturates the wood. It is through this oleoresin saturated wood where Oud develops its aroma. The fragrance is complex, deep and woody, and is highly prized as incense in Japan and as an oil in the Middle East. Because of its rarity, Agarwood is not well known in the West, but should be experienced by every connoisseur of essential oils, and anyone serious about aromatherapy and natural perfumery.

Eucalyptus oil is distilled from the leaf of Eucalyptus. About seventy five percent of this world trade is done through china but it''s not real Eucalyptus oil it is actually a derivation of camphor oil. South Africa, Spain, Portugal, Chile and Swaziland etc. are other countries which produce real Eucalyptus oil.

If we see according to the climatic condition in that case Australia provides all most all the conditions to grow Eucalyptus, still it is cultivated in so many parts of the world.

It is evident from the history that it was popular oil worldwide. Ancient generations used it in pharmaceutical, flavoring components, repellents and antiseptics.

Eucalyptus leaf is distilled to get the essential oil from the leaf, for these three methodologies are used:

Some Eucalyptus trees are grown for their timber purpose, so when they are felled their leaves depart from them which are recovered to extract oil from the leaves.

Some trees which are only made to grow for extracting oil from the leaves for them coppicing system is used, these plants then are grown for not more than twenty months and later are cut.

According to the last method, which is used merely in Australia, which is called harvesting of natural stand, forage harvester is used to extract oil from blue and green species as they coppice easily even after cutting repeatedly, claiming that there is no loss of vigor by the passage of time.

    Benefits:

If someone is suffering from bronchitis, influenza, cough and cold, then he is knowingly and unknowingly swallowing the oil as it is an important component in pharmaceutical to relieve the symptoms of both.

Ointments and inhalants are also made by use of eucalyptus oil, as it can be used as antibacterial.

It strengthens our immune system too.

It is most popularly used in hygiene products like dental care, soaps etc.

It also de-infects the injured part so can be used for wound or injury.

Most of the insect repellent is incomplete without it.

It is used in so many baked goods, confectionery items, and meat items for flavoring them but it is used only 0.02%, excessive use can spoil the taste.

    Product Feature:-
    • Oregano (Origanum vulgare) is an herb that is a member of the mint family (Labiatae). Oregano has been considered a precious plant commodity for over 2,500 years in folk medicines that originated across the globe. It has a very long use in traditional medicine for treating colds, indigestion and upset stomachs.
    • You might have some experience cooking with fresh or dried oregano leaves — such as oregano spice, one of the top herbs for healing but oregano essential oil is far from what you’d put in your pizza sauce. Found in the Mediterranean, throughout many parts of Europe, and in South and Central Asia, medicinal grade oregano is distilled to extract the essential oil from the herb, which is where a high concentration of the herb’s active constituents are found. It takes over 1,000 pounds of wild oregano to produce just one pound of oregano oil! The oil’s active ingredients are preserved in alcohol and used in essential oil form both topically (on the skin) and internally.
    • When made into a medicinal supplement or essential oil, oregano is often called “oil of oregano.” As mentioned above, oregano oil is a considered a natural alternative to prescription antibiotics. Oil of oregano contains two powerful compounds called carvacrol and thymol, both of which have been shown in studies to have strong anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Oregano’s oil is primarily made of carvacrol, while the plant’s leaves contain a variety of antioxidant compounds, such as phenols, triterpenes, rosmarinic acid, ursolic acid and oleanolic acid.
    • Designed specifically for fighting bacterial infections, antibiotics are one of medical doctors’ favorite tools for treating many health issues. But there’s another underutilized natural “medicine” that many doctors don’t tell their patients about: oregano oil (also called oil of oregano).
    • Oregano oil is a powerful, plant-derived essential oil that may rival antibiotics when it comes to treating or preventing various infections. In fact, it contains properties that are antibacterial, antiviral and antifungal. And oregano oil is unlikely to cause many of the harmful side effects that are commonly attributed to high use of antibiotics — such as increased risk for antibiotic resistance, poor gut health due to destroying beneficial probiotic bacteria, reduced vitamin absorption and leaky gut syndrome due to damage of the GI tract’s lining.
    • Meanwhile, oregano oil benefits extend beyond just controlling infections. What else is oregano oil used to treat? Common examples of conditions that oregano oil can help manage include:
